The Marco SP9 is one of the few products on the market that allows baristas to create consistent pour-over coffee. Featuring an under-counter boiler that minimizes counter space and an eye-catching brew head, the SP9 lets you extend your coffee offerings from single-origin coffees to custom blends brewed one cup at a time for every customer.

With simple settings for water volume and brew time, you can easily create a fresh Chemex or Hario coffee for your customers. The SP9 maintains a consistent level of quality in every brew, making it an unrivaled single-serve brewer.

Note: Does not include brewing devices or filters. Contains head(s) and under-counter boilers only.

Preparation Steps

1. Set the required water volume on the SP9 dial to prep the brewing vessel.
2. Ensure the brewing vessel is placed under the spray head.
3. Press the toggle twice (double click) to flush water into the vessel.

Brewing Steps

1. The barista decides the recipe, including time, volume, and grind size.
2. Weigh and grind the coffee.
3. Set the required water volume on the SP9 dial.
4. Set the brew time on the SP9 dial.
5. Place the pre-heated brewing vessel, filter paper, and ground coffee under the spray head.
6. Press the toggle once. The SP9 will:
   • Circulate water from the head to the boiler to maintain consistent water temperature.
   • Dispense water in 9 pulses over the coffee bed.
   The barista can serve and chat with customers while brewing.
7. Serve and enjoy the freshly brewed coffee.

Warning Notes

• Boiler: The SP9 Boiler must be connected to an SP9 Head before use.
• Head: The SP9 Head is powered only through its connection to the boiler with the provided electrical connection.
• Do not turn on the boiler or engage the brew switch until the head and boiler are plumbed together.

Backflow Prevention

This equipment must be installed with adequate backflow protection to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes.

Maintenance

The SP9 is designed for years of trouble-free service. The only regular maintenance required is occasional de-scaling.
