How to use this French Press Coffee Brewer:
- Place the French press on a dry, flat surface. Grip the handle, then pull out the plunger.
- Add a heaping tablespoon (7-8 grams) of coffee to the pot per 200mL (6.7 oz) of water.
- Pour hot water (not boiling) into the pot and gently stir.
- Carefully reinsert the plunger into the pot, stopping just above the water and ground coffee (do not plunge yet).
- Wait for 3-4 minutes, then press the plunger down slowly, exerting steady pressure.
- Pour the coffee in your cup through the filter and enjoy your earthy, aromatic coffee.
Care and Use:
- Use a medium, uniform and consistent grind of coffee with this French press for perfect earthy coffee each time. This is because coarse grinds may clog the filter, while very fine grinds will pass through the filter, muddying the results.
- Recommend to cleaning it shortly after use as the coffee pot may discolour if the grounds remain in the pot for too long.
- Can be easily cleaned under running water and mild detergent. Not recommended washing it in the dishwasher.
- Use filtered water for best coffee flavour.
