ECM Synchronika Coffee Machine:

The ECM Synchronika is a dual boiler coffee machine with a low noise rotary pump and featuring a built-in PID controller. The two independent stainless steel boilers allows you to brew and steam simultaneously to make perfect lattes and cappuccinos with no wait time and also provide stable temperatures. Also, you can either use the 2.8L water tank or avoid refilling by using a direct water connection. Ensure to outfit it with a filtration system for better tasting shots and improved machine longevity.

The PID controller in a subtle, silver-coloured display allows you to regulate the temperature of both boilers. Further complimented by an integrated shot timer, which indicates coffee brewing time. And with 2 bar steam power at your disposal with this controller, prepare espresso shots with a surprising amount of kick. You also have the option to program a reminder for next the group cleaning.

It comes with a high-end ECM brew group which is constantly heated with water from the thermosiphon system for temperature stability. Includes two stylish ergonomic portafilters with weight-balanced shape and angled grip and dual pressure gauges in a retro design. Plus the quick-steam and hot-water lever valves come in an extravagant design, with ergonomic movement mechanism.

How to use this Coffee Machine:

• Switch on the machine, you can use it either with a water tank or direct connection (Refer the manual to know more).
• Tune the boiler temperatures if required with the PID controller and wait until the temperature is indicated on the display.
• Use the portafilter with 1 spout and the corresponding filter (1 cup) for preparing 1 cup. In case of preparing 2 cups, use the portafilter with 2 spouts and the big filter.
• Ensure the filter is locked into the portafilter firmly.
• Fill the finely ground coffee into the filter and compress it with the tamper.
• Now clamp the portafilter firmly into the brew group and place a cup under the spout of the portafilter.
• Now move the brew lever into the upper position to start the brewing process.
• The timer on the PID-display indicates the brewing time in seconds. The brewing time should be around 20 to 25 seconds.
• Place the brew lever back into the original position once it reaches the desired volume.
• In case you need to add milk, use the steam wand to froth the milk (Refer the manual to know more).
• Enjoy your fresh cup of coffee.

Care and Use:

• After the brewing process, the gauge still indicates a certain pressure. Only when preparing another cup of coffee will the build-up of pressure be visible again.
• Recommended to leave the portafilter in the brew group keeping it warm for optimum temperature for coffee extraction.
• Only freshly ground coffee allows for an optimal coffee result.
• Clean the steam and hot water valve after every use.
• Portafilter, drip tray, drip grid and water tank require daily cleaning. Not suitable for the dishwasher, though.
• Depending on usage, please refresh the boiler water every 1–2 weeks by hot water dispense.
• Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning. Never use abrasive or chloric detergents.
• Never immerse the machine in water to prevent danger of an electric shock.
