Hario Skerton Pro Manual Coffee Grinder is a ceramic burr manual grinder, perfect for travel or home use. It is equipped with a stronger grind shaft and burr stabilization plate which ensures more uniform grind. Further, its funnel-shaped burrs provide consistent grinds for all brewing techniques. Also, the easier-to-adjust grind adjustment screw ensures consistent results. The non-slip rubber base keeps it in place while grinding and the ergonomically designed crank handle detaches for compact storage and easy travel. It is simple to disassemble the burrs for convenient washing. Further, it can store up to 100g of grounds in the collector, which is sufficient for brewing upto 8 cups of coffee.
How to use this coffee grinder:
- Grind a small amount of beans to check and adjust the coarseness of the coffee grounds.
- Use between 10g to 12g of coffee per cup. Put enough beans for 1 or 2 cups of coffee into the hopper.
- Hold the grinder firmly and rotate the handle clockwise to grind the coffee beans.
Care and Use:
- Always fasten the hopper cover when grinding beans.
- Never turn the handle counter clockwise (left), as doing so will damage the burr.
- Do not wash in a dishwasher, or wash using household bleach.
- The burrs may become blunt due to prolonged use.
- Do not grind anything other than coffee beans. Doing so may damage the product.
