La Marzocco Swift Mini Grinder facilitates baristas to grind, dose and tamp a double espresso on demand with no waste and no mess. It combines the quality and features of a commercial espresso grinder with the convenience of an at-home filter grinder. Compatible with all La Marzocco home machines, it also works perfectly as a standalone on demand grinder. It comes with proprietary 32mm conical steel burr set that can grind 18 grams of coffee in 6 seconds. Also includes a portafilter holder for a clean grinding experience and a standard 250g beans hopper. You get the options to grind for a single espresso, or for filter brewing method with this grinder. The easy-to-use swing arm moves to the side, to bypass the automatic tamping mechanism. And as a result, it allows to single dose coffees into their portafilter or the filter brewing vessel of choice. It uses two stepped adjustment wheels for quick and easy grind size and dose adjustments. The grind adjustment wheel is easy to adjust with numbers marked clearly, which allows repeatability and consistency. And the dose adjustment wheel provides a straightforward way to control how much coffee goes into the portafilter basket.
How to use this coffee grinder:
- Make sure the hopper is positioned correctly and fastened before grinding. Now fill the bean hopper with fresh roasted coffee beans.
- Adjust the grind size and dose with the help of two stepped adjustment wheels located under the hopper. (Refer the manual to know more.)
- Release the beans into the grinder container by opening the lock slide.
- Turn on the grinder by engaging the master power switch.
- Engage the portafilter, then press the start button at the front of the appliance.
- Coffee will grind, dose and tamp automatically.
Care and Use:
- Designed solely for grinding coffee beans. Never put coffee grounds in the hopper (intended only for beans).
- Do not let any kind of liquid come in contact with interior or exterior parts of the appliance.
- Wash the hopper once you have removed it from the appliance, using neutral soap and water, rinse abundantly with lukewarm water and dry thoroughly.
- Do not use abrasive products to clean, as it might take the sheen off shiny parts.
