Vitamix Prep 3 Blender is engineered for peak performance, supporting the demands of high-volume kitchens and processing difficult, back-to-back blends; be it chopping delicate ingredients or blending tough purees. Features sturdy, easy-to-use controls to optimize operation and minimize time such as High-speed switch, Variable speed knob and Start/Stop switch. Adjustable speed settings from 1 to 10 allow a full range of precise textures, great for a wide range of applications. And the Start/Stop switch automatically returns to a neutral position, helping to prevent unintentional start-ups.
The powerful 3HP motor features improved thermal capabilities, providing the power and dependability required in the most demanding commercial kitchens. Also comes with an advanced cooling fan to provide optimum reliability during peak hours of operation. The 64oz (2L) high-impact container included makes it ideal for large, high-volume operations. It is virtually unbreakable and lets you see the blending process. The flexible 2-piece lids allow to add ingredients while the blender is in operation. How to Use Prep 3 Blender:
- lug in the unit and switch on the blender.
- Add ingredients in the container, secure the lid and place in on the motor base.
- Make sure that the left switch is set to variable speed, and the dial is set to speed 1.
- Press the Start/Stop switch and turn Variable Speed Control to desired setting and blend, or slowly increase to 10 and switch to High, using the tamper as necessary.
- When the desired texture is achieved, press the Start/Stop switch, remove the lid, and pour.
Note: The machine will automatically shut off after 8 minutes.
Care and Use:
- When processing hot liquids or mixture, securely lock the lid in place, never start processing at high speed, and be cautious.
- Use the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades, break air pockets, and get ingredients moving. Add more liquid if your blend is still not circulating.
- Do not let mixtures, liquids or food products dry in the container. It may lock around the blade and weaken/tear the bearings.
- NOT microwave and dishwasher safe.
- Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Don't remove container or lid until the blade is completely still.
