Urnex Dezcal Coffee Machine Descaling Powder:
Urnex Dezcal is a specially formulated activated descaling powder for your coffee or espresso machine. Limescale deposits are an inevitable reality in a coffee machine, particularly in areas with hard water. Unfortunately, these deposits both shorten the life of your equipment and affect the flavour of the beverages you make, so regularly descaling your equipment is very important.
Formulated from biodegradable, odorless and phosphate free ingredients, this powder breaks down limescale effectively that forms on the heating element of every coffee maker. Also descales hot water tanks and boilers, faucets and spray heads. It takes only 30 minutes to descale with this powder. And rinses away thoroughly, is odorless so that the aroma and taste of your coffee remains unaffected. It's safe to use for people and also for the environment.
How to use this descaling powder:
- Create a descaling solution using 200 g of Dezcal Powder for each 3.9 L of warm water.
- Stir to dissolve.
- For descaling in place, hold solution in vessel for up to 30 minutes.
- Discard of descaling solution and rinse all parts thoroughly.
